June, 1935 advertising Stranded.
Strand Theater.
Taken in the fall of 1935, while no marquee is present in the image, I would imagine that the theater be nearby. I am also not sure which Strand Theater this was advertised for, as there were two distinct ones in Brooklyn, NY and Lakewood, NJ.
Personally, I would imagine this photo was taken in Brooklyn. If you have any information regarding this photograph (or any), please email me.
Rio Theater
Helena, MT
September 1936, advertising Give Me Your Heart.

This pages exists solely to make it easier for fans to view images of Kay Francis that either did not have a purpose for a specific film she was working on, or because the photo was used to promote a film of her’s. I’m always seeing the gorgeous photographs of her which were not done for a particular film, but just done for general publicity, so I’m throwing all of the photos which strictly have Kay and only Kay here. I’m trying to keep them in chronological order to make it easier for viewers (and, more importantly, ME!).

I believe these are from the June 1930

Kay Francis appeared on many magazine covers during her Hollywood career. It has taken me some time but I have finally started a gallery to showcase all of the covers I have saved from the internet over the past few years or so.

I have rearranged the gallery for tobacco cards since switching hosts. I limited the sizes for the majority of the cards to 500 pixels at the most, just to save on web-space for other material.
Originally, I had the cards arranged in no particular order. Now I have arranged them from when the photos appear to have been taken. I still haven’t labeled each individual year a card was released because I don’t know that information for everyone.
For simplicity’s sake, I figured this organization is the most easily accessible for readers to navigate.
Enjoy!
